Gamma Holding completes sale of Texoprint
The sale of Texoprint B.V., manufacturer of printed interior decoration fabrics located in Boekelo, to Active B.V., which was announced on 14 November 2000, has been completed by Gamma Holding.
Texoprint did not contribute to Gamma Holding's profits. Its turnover in 2000 was approximately
€ 15 million.
The sale of this unit was in line with Gamma Holding's previous decision to dispose of the Interior-Decoration Products sector. In anticipation of this divestment, this sector was already deconsolidated in the 1999 annual accounts.
As well as Texoprint, the companies Globus, Kendix and Van Dijk have now been sold. The companies Sanderson, Dawes, E&S Home of Color, Eijfinger, Hatéma Contract and Léo Schellekens are still part of the deconsolidated Interior-Decoration Products sector.
